What is Wrapped in Courage? Stand with Survivors and Show Your Support
Every year, communities across Ontario come together for the Wrapped in Courage campaign—a powerful movement supporting women, children, and gender-diverse individuals fleeing violence. By wearing purple scarves, we’re showing solidarity with survivors of all backgrounds and taking a stand against Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
Why Wrapped in Courage Matters:
Wrapped in Courage is more than just a campaign—it’s a way to let survivors know they’re not alone. This campaign emphasizes cultural sensitivity and inclusivity, calling on everyone in our community to join in a united front against GBV.
How You Can Get Involved:
Wear Purple on Wrapped in Courage Day (November 28) to show your support for survivors.
Share our message on social media using the hashtags #WrappedInCourage and #EndGBV.
Donate to help Nelson House continue providing life-saving services to survivors of all backgrounds.
Every scarf worn, every post shared, and every donation made brings us closer to a safer, more inclusive community for all. Follow us for updates on how you can participate, and let’s stand together to create change.
